I know a lot of people use them for other animals but from what I've found out in my room is I actually need something that cools the eggs down. Maybe thats just me though.

I have that incubator - currently have eggs in it. Seems to be fine. Temps stay consistent. Also have some eggs in the closet. Got a ways to go before hatching so can't say if one is better at this time.
