Rest in Peace my little Bug

Yesterday morning was just like any other, the usual morning routine, a few powdered superworms with the promise of roaches and a hornworm upon coming home from work, said my goodbye and told her to have a good day. Checked my webcam around noon, she wasn't in her usual heat spot, figured she was making her rounds... Came home from work and my little best friend was laying on the ground of her enclosure turning dark and barely breathing. I rushed panicked as quick as I could to the emergency vet but there was little they could aside from some meds to ease the pain, she passed shortly after arrival. I'm absolutely shattered, she was my first chameleon, my buddy. I keep wondering what if I had come home sooner, what if there was something I had missed in her what seemed to be normal behavior that morning.

This is Bug, she was almost 4, she absolutely loved hornworms, hated the color red, and she was my whole heart </3
