Respiratory Infection?

He could be just upset and trying to intimidate you by hissing. My healthy chameleons do it all the time, mainly the females because they are bratty lol. But I think you should fill out the "how to ask for help" just so everyone can check your husbandry skills :)
 
I understand your concern my meg points her head up and hisses my dog gets concern when he hears it. She's a big girl and a loud Cham.
 
Sometimes my Cham just blows are through his nose to signal that he knows I'm there and moving too much for his taste. He never "sneezes" otherwise
