The True Iguana! ( I couldn't find a picture of an actual True Iguana, so I used this Green Iguana.)


These reptiles represent large American lizards but are not found in the United States. About 10 or 11 species of false iguana live on the ground in lower California, Mexico, and further south into Central America. The True Iguana lives in tropical trees. They are also a favorite food of some tribes of Indians. True Iguanas are also herbivorous.
 
Also...if you're interested in here's...you should learn the proper Latin name of the ones you're studying.
 
Actually, no. I am wanting to become a wildlife biologist. But I do enjoy studying and learning about reptiles. I will get to work on learning some Latin names of reptiles.
