Hello everyone! Happy late Thanksgiving. There wasn't a reptile or amphibian of the week during Thanksgiving because I was with my family, so I will do last week's reptile or amphibian of the week and this week's reptile or amphibian of the week in this thread.

The Alligator Snapping Turtle!!!!!

The alligator snapping turtle is a species of turtle in the family Chelydridae. The species is native to freshwater habitats in the United States. M. Temminckii is one of the heaviest freshwater turtles in the world. It is the largest freshwater species of turtle in North America.

The Olm!!!!!


The olm or proteus is an aquatic salamander in the family Proteidae, the only exclusively cave-dwelling chordate species found in Europe. In contrast to most amphibians, it is entirely aquatic; it eats, sleeps, and breeds underwater.
