i was considering getting one of these cages anyone know if its a good choice?!?! ...and if you have one is there a place to put cords through?

yes i have one and there is kind of a rust problem with the hinges and on the top where there is a tare in the mesh on the top that also has a bit of rust...and also rite under the door where it opens up wards spreads out too much when you put branches that are too long and i had to tie them up with wire...

I only buy cages from LLL because the LLL cage is made in the USA... right here is california. the zoo med brand cages are made in china....... they rust, as members have proven. The LLL cages made in the USA are made out of aluminum, and will not rust.

my cage has only started to rust in one spot, because water was on the mesh and i didnt dry it, so if you keep the mesh dry you should have a problem with rusting, so after misting if you see any water on the screen just give it a quick wipe with paper towel and you will be fine

Rust isn't something that any living animal should be consuming.... if you have a rust spot on the cage the chameleon has the potential to drink the water that drips from where the cage is rusting....
I don't think I see the point in spending more money for a china made product that isn't as good as the US product which won't rust... Plus I think it's best to support the US made products.

its not where the dripper drips its jjust on the front of the cage at the bottom where the water dripped down the screen when i was misting, its the size of 2 small squares of mesh haha its tiny but it is more red then the other mesh. i actually bought this from the US but it wasnt made there so its not my fault
see im canadian buying stuff from the US im helping you guys out haha

definetly, ill be getting an LLL cage. I got this one as a package for my chameleon but the next cage ill get will be one of those
cause its a little cheaper to get a cage in the states and have it shipped here instead of buying one here XD. If only i could get chameleons like that

So I just took a look at those lll cages and the price isn't that bad but I couldn't see a spot where the opening is. So can anyone tell me how they open and same questions as before is there a spot for cords to be put through?

I just got one a few days ago and no there aren't any spot to put the cords through... I had to make a few holes to pass my thermometer sensors through. Just make sure you like where you are going to put you sensors, you don't want to make a bunch of holes in the screen, lol!
I don't know if I can explain but the door opend up from the front toward the middle. It has 2 plastick "latches" that secure the door closed. The door doesn't go all the way to the top it starts 1/4 down and stops 3/4 down the cage.

the front door opens up from your left hand side and the hinges are on the right...and the bottom opens up wards so its easyer to take out the pvc sheet and clean...oh yah there is no space to put cords thru...you can just put your lights on the top of the cage...and make a small hole for you dripper tube if you have one...i dont think any cages that are sold have any spots for cords...not that i know of atleast...
