Repti Glo?

I know everyone here recommends the Repti Sun 5.0, and I THOUGHT I was using it up till now, every time I bought a bulb I'd walk into PetSmart and grab the 18" 5.0 and be on my way- and I only just realized that they only have repti glos at my store- I've been buying them all along! I feel so bad for not paying closer attention to the packaging!

Are they different?
I haven't been hurting my babies, have I?!

They are different, and you can for sure get repti SUNs cheaper from LLL reptile anyway. Here is a site with the readings of all different bulbs http://www.uvguide.co.uk/

They are different. But dont be concerned. The reptiGlo is okay too. Not quite as good, but not "bad" either. I have used ReptiGlo for over ten years, no issues. next time get ReptiSUN if you can. Check out this thread: https://www.chameleonforums.com/repti-sun-5-0-a-13239/

Only difference, ReptiGlo seems to lose its effectiveness much faster than ReptiSun.
so, they need to replaced sooner.

My Repti Sun that I use for one of my Beardie cages has started to dim at just 3 months of use........so I may try Repti Glo.........I use the ZooMed Coiled ones for my Monitors....
