Real Tree or Fake Tree?

I have been looking into getting Silas a tree to hang out on. I have been thinking about a fake tree like a ficus or other. I was thinking fake tree and then it wouldn't have the probability of attracting pests. Any ideas or suggestions?? Thanks

I would go real tree. Then you could always mist him while he's free ranging. If you get a fake you'd prob not want to get it wet. Besides that real is always the better option. No worries about ingesting fake foliage or any chemical residue left behind on the fake tree.

I would also recommend a natural tree. If it's indoors I don't think you would have to worry about pests.
