just a few pics of the Jax gang outside - I love how Olive's "baby" is resting her head on Olive's rump - the pic of the one with Oliver behind her- THAT is one of Olive's girls at just a dot over a yr old- they sure took after her in size I also wondered if they would separate once in the larger pen- nope they still stay together

The one word I dont usually use to describe something would be cute...this is an exception I'm just curios about two things > what are the temps in and out of direct sunlight where u live at the moment? No hostility at all with a male and two females ?? They look super healthy and as mentioned before, healthy. Congrats!

Cheryl worked hard are getting her clan to live together. They live outside 24/7. All are happy and healthy.

Thanks - they only get morning sun, and late evening sun that hits " direct" -most of the day is patchy sun - but from about 1 to 4 , it gets no sun- but that is how I wanted it - the sun here in late afternoon is pretty warm - so I did not want the cage to get any of that sun - you can see in the pic how the sun is kinda " broken" - the thing on the top is a tube dripper- LOL - I dont know what else to call it it runs off of a big tote full of water that I modified - it will run 3 days of non stop drips - the cage has a "wet" side, and a "dry" side- but they mostly hang out in the wet side - I have no control over the temp, because it is outside - but if it gets REALLY hot - like over 90 - I bring them in to the AC - there is also a mister I use to cool it when needed - but it feels cool in there , I think from the wet ground and shade - there is no fighting - there are 4 girls, and a male - but I watch them close- I know just because they liked each other yesterday, does not mean they will like each other today but the girls have lived together for a long time, and with Oliver added about a bit over a mo ago- but Olive and Oliver have "known" each other for a long time I am lucky because I do not work in the summer - so I spend A LOT of time just watching them as I go about my yard work - if I were to see ANY issues , I would not leave who ever has an issue in - I do pull them randomly and bring them in for a few days to get weights, and poop so I can have it checked for parasites - if I do get a pos/ - then they all get pulled in separately so I can get samples from each one- that is one down side to this - you do not know what poop is whos - LOL - but they seem to even have a favorite " pooping " spot - this is not for everyone I know - and if I were not able to spend so much time watching them , I don't know if I would keep them like this - I love my guys, if I saw any stress or health issues , I would put them all in their own cage - they are still hand fed - its like a mob on me lol - they come right down to eat - and then they get "snacks" left in sometimes - ( a handful of crix, or bunch of moths ) I will try to get better detail pics of the cage in the AM

What a fantastic GOC! I don't think I've ever seen it before, but I love the setup and am jealous of the time you have in the summer to watch your chams as you go about your day. And the pic of Olive's daughter resting her head on Olive's rump is so completely adorable!

That one is the shyer of the 2 - she is ALWAYS only inches from Olive - a foot at most usually - I know there is no "maternal" bond they say - but after I took the first pic, she got nervous - and hid behind Olive - my Cuban Knight Anoles ( rescues ) also stay together, even tho there is plenty of room to separate ( the pic is not that great - it was still lights off- but they sleep together ) ~ I cant help but wonder, maybe we have some of the info wrong- ?? I would NEVER keep anyone or anything together if it caused stress or harm, and never mix species - but I guess I am a "out of the box" thinker - and or I just happen to have one very unique group lol you can just see her peaking out from behind Olive its odd, because there are 2 who do NOT like the group, but are ok w/ each other ? so they live in the smaller 3' X 7' cage

Thanks Jann - I know you saw them when they first got here- poor things ! feel free to point out anything I do wrong w/ them- the Cubans are a new thing for me , nothing like my little itty bits I have kept I so enjoy them - I now have them hand feeding ( but they still make me a bit nervous - its that HUGE mouth of teeth - LOL )

You are so lucky to have the outdoor space where to keep them , and lucky to have the time to watch them ..well done
