Raised yellow skin bump/lump

This thread is about my search for any information on a puzzling growth on my chameleon's left side. From a posting (skin issues...what is it...abcess?) I got the closest answer yet. The description and photos are so similar, it must be a vascular tumor. If you see this bump, remove it when it is very small. It does not wall off. It just gets larger, with more blood vessels, making it impossible to remove. His bump has cracked and grown. So don't wait.

Pictures are helpful in a topic such as this.
Unfortunately my computer skills are not that great. And the daughter (who started this by buying him and then handing him over to me) is no longer living close by to help. Previous posts from others including the one I mentioned actually show very similar tumors. I was just hoping to warn others to catch these tumors at the beginning before they become inoperable.

I know. It is all the passwords that are driving me crazy. I may be able to figure it out. But I also know that people will be "why did you not take him to a vet?". There are several reasons. My main point is this type of tumor is tricky. It looks just like a small raised scale at the beginning, so you think, hmmm, let's not stress him out. But it grows very quickly to the point where as I stated before, you can't remove it. I can hear the comments now and my answer is: hindsight is great but he is still alive and seems ok. I will see if I can post some early photos. I will google it. It would be an easy way to show a vet just what you are dealing with.
