Quickie: Arcadia 6% 46" T5HO UVB

It just arrived, so of course I fired it up to make sure all is well with the world.
First of its kind (for me) so I'm not sure what to expect, and it wasn't like the 34" T5HO 10.0 Reptisuns I'm used to.

Turned it on, and only the ends lit up. It took quite a few (10-15) minutes for the whole tube to light up.
UVIs seem within range once this happened.

Is this normal/usual for a brand-new one of these, or might it be defective or old or something?

First time I ran mine it took about 10 minutes for my 48 inch and 5 min for my 36 inch to totally light the bulb fully. It only happened the first time though. Give it a good hour on to test your UVI output.
