Questions about vegies and how to give them to chams.

Alright so my veiled hasn't been introduced to vegies yet and I was wondering what fruits and vegetables he can eat and how I should try to over them to him cause he wants nothing to do with me most of the time so any info would be awesome. Btw he's about 5-6 months old I think I don't have the hatch date yet.

What plants does he have in his cage? Does he ever eat them at all? Some chams like to eat fruit or veg, and you can offer anything which you can use for gutload - https://www.chameleonforums.com/blogs/sandrachameleon/75-feeder-nutrition-gutloading.html or other things like carrot and strawberry.
Just put them on a plate for him, or hang leaves from his branches.
Some just won't go for any though. My male veiled has eaten 1 piece of strawberry, never shown any interest in any thing else......
you could also look at this thread to see a method of offering veg on youtube - https://www.chameleonforums.com/how-get-veiled-eat-fruit-95995/

So far 3 of my chams go nuts over collard greens. I found a bowl that I can attach to the side of my cages and put the greens in there. They have no problem seeing the greens or eating them.

Ive been making a dry gutload mix for my crickets kale, grapes, carrot ect and ive been dabbing a bit on the crickets before feeding to the chameleons:)sometimes it falls of but most of the time they get it so it seems to be working! I do this with my bearded dragon too

I would try hand feeding small slivers of fruit and veggies first. It takes them a few minutes to figure out how to eat things that want stick to their tongue. Later you can offer them on a plate or I use a shallow bowl. My guys like greens, carrot, apple, bannana, strawberry grape and more. Just try different things until you see what they like. Be sure to cut the fruits in to small slivers so the want choke.

alright guys thank you I will try to get him to eat some tomorrow I know my bearded dragon will eat them.

My male veiled will eat blueberries and almost any green, leafy veggie.
Sometimes I just hold a leaf up to him while he bites off pieces. Most of the time I break it up into small pieces and put it in a small bowl on the floor.

He wont eat apples or strawberries.
