Not the average question about chameleons

So I know this forum is about chameleons but I have a question about one of the feeder bugs: the horn worm. So he eats them perfectly fine, but what would happen if let’s say a kitten got to one? Would it have major consequences on the kitten or no?

Somewhere there is a recipe on this site for hornworms @kinyonga . Supposedly they taste like peanut butter.

It would be best if your kitten only ate the ones raised on hornworm feed because wild outdoor hornworms can pick up toxins from the plants they eat. Those are very bad for chameleons and probably not the best for kittens.
Well that’s gold to know! I didn’t know they could be toxic, but thankfully it was one from a hornworm breeder.
