Question about a plant

So I have this little orange tree, about 3 maybe four feet tall. It grows little mini oranges but they are SUPER sour!! Anyway, I was wondering if it would be okay for my ambilobe panther cham to chill on? I wouldn't have it in his cage, but is it safe for him to relax on while he's out of his cage? The plant is in a pot in my kitchen. Thanks!

If you got it from a store, make sure there are no pesticides on it. Panther chameleons don't really eat vegetation like vields do so I think it will be fine. Read from other comments though to make sure it is 100% safe.

It's perfectly safe. Many citrus have thorns, some have many, some have nearly none. Make sure you clip off any thorns to avoid potential injury and clipping the thorns will not harm the plant.

I've inspected the plant, and it has close to no thorns. The only ones I've spotted are on the very thin branches that a cham couldn't climb on anyway

I'd still prune the thorns. It's better safe than sorry and if you prune the plant, it will encourage more branching and flowers.
