Ps2 Memory card help!

hi i lost my ps2 memory card when i got my ps3, i bought Kingdom hearts but cannot play it on my ps3 (not compatible) i wont be able to go to the store until thurs. is there any way i can save my data file onto the flashdrive? i have the slim ps2. if so please let me know! i do not want to play KH and then start over when i get the card or every time i turn of the system. i also do not want to leave the system running for 5 days straight!

Why not just buy another memory card off eBay or go to the store and get another?

theres a firmware update 3.0 thats coming out and its supposedly going to be really big. I read somewhere that sony recently found a way to emulate ps2 games without the hardware of older PS3 systems and they could easily apply this in a firmware update... Im hoping its in firmware 3.0 but sony has been very hush hush about all their projects, even on release dates, and I wouldnt be surprised if the emulator doesnt come out at all... IMO they need to stepup in PR
