thank you so much! I went on the Home Depot website and am thinking of getting a Pothos plant and a spider plant. I would like to switch to a glass terrarium that I can put soil in. but I don't know what the right dimensions should be. can you please help with that?

Pothos is a great option (and it is super hard to kill) :) Live plants are a great way to maintain the humidity in the cage as well.

In regard to switching, most people opt for a 2ftx2ftx4ft (this size is the minimum for most adult chams) screen or hybrid cage. You can either buy solid panels, or use a shower curtain to turn a screen cage into a hybrid by covering some of the sides. I personally would not opt for an all-glass terrarium since they can be prone to overheating and controlling the humidity might be a bit more difficult, depending on your needs. But, I'll defer to the experts to comment on this one.

Before you rush out to start making changes and buy new supplies, let's wait for a veiled expert to respond with a full husbandry review.

ok

I’m so sad that I’ve been doing it wrong, I feel bad for the Cham.
Dont beat yourself up. You came here which is good and now you're learning how to properly take care of your Cham. If you had done nothing and let the the current conditions continue and your Cham died then yes but it's not too late. You are doing the right things. Hang in there.
