brennan are you saying that you supplement your cham with: reptivite WITH D3 a cpl times a mnth..reptocal WITH D3 every 2 days...and repticalcium every 2 days? does that mean your cham is getting D3 like every second day and also a cpl times a mnth with it being included in the reptivite?? kinyonga could this be too much D3 ?? would this be causing the problem? seems like alot of D3 to me.

Tandra Lee...it could very well be a part of the problem...except that I don't think that much damage could be done in the short time the OP has had her.

What are you measuring temps with-that wattage of SolarGlo can create some pretty intense temps-if she has become dehydrated she could very well close her eyes and quit eating. If you have not seen poop in 3 weeks that could also be an issue. Dehydration and too much mealworms could cause impaction, creating an eyes closed not eating situation also. You do need to get her to a VET. And quit handling. Stress can also cause these issues.

my cham loves to be held she turnes bright green and crawls up my arm n across my hands n i was told that to keep her from getting mean or to not like being handled i need to hold her for a little each day..if she is comfortable then hang out if it seems to be upsetting her put her back.i only strated to give her the calcium supplaments i read that schedule on one of the other forums about feeding issues..i was just giving her a multi vitamin 2 to three times a week and it has d3 in it...and im measuring her temp and hum. with the in cage gauges from pet co.

Way to much D3! I would not supplement for a couple of weeks and just shake the feeders in regular calcium each feed.

When most chams get aroused (such as when they are handled) their color does get brighter. It does NOT mean she's happy! She's reacting to the stresser (you). A truly happy cham is more likely to be a quieter duller shade of green. She is crawling up your arm to reach the highest spot on you. Chams generally feel safer the higher they get. I do not agree that she needs to be held every day to keep her friendly. It is more likely to add to her stress over time. Most chams don't want to be handled at all, or only when necessary, especially a wc. The typical temp and humidity gauges from pet stores are not very accurate. I've had the humidity gauges get stuck on one reading entirely and stop reacting to the actual levels. Lost my first cham that way.

Not a great gutload. Do you give them any dark fresh leafy greens or fruit? Wood shavings? Get rid of it.

The UV from this bulb may not be doing much good. I haven't used this type so don't know its UV output. ReptiSun 5.0 are proven.

ok and i just gave her water in a 10 ml baby syringe and she drank the whole thing pretty much!! hopefully on the right path here...im gonna try to blend up some veggies n feed it to her thrue that to so she gets some food untill she can open her eyes and hunt crickets...aso gonna contact osu vet clinic n see if they have experiance with reptiles.
