pro exotics temp gun question

So I just bought this temp gun off of amazon and realized the picture is completely different than the one on the tempgun.com website... Did I get an older model or something

It might be a newer model. I have 3 of what they called the "PE2" model and the apearance is different. They have changed over the years, and it might be a different manufacturer as the Pro Exotics warehouse burned down a couple of years ago. They lost just about all their inventory. My first one is quite a few years old and works just fine.

I saw that.. Depressing poor animals.. Anyways dang I hope I am getting the genuine product then
