Preventing hatching of mold spores

I have gotten some Exo Terra jungle vines, T-rex water proof vines and a glowlight out of my basement. The thing is, I realised that my basement floor and a few boxes were wet. When I opened the wet boxes, the books inside at the bottom were very moldy. I had mold on the walls but never on the stuff in my basement before. So I am safe to guess, that there are mold spores EVERYWHERE, since even books inside a cardboard box were molded.

My questions are: How can I prevent these spores on my chameleon stuff/equipment to become mold once I put them in my cham enclosure? I will be having montane chams, so the cage will have max moisture and will mostly be wet! I am going to build have an Exo Terra glass cage or similar, so not much ventilation either.

Will it be enough if I wash everything for a few minutes?
Is having a bioactive vivarium enough to prevent mold from growing or spreading?
Will the mold or spores harm my montane chams if they drink drops off of them or breath them in? (probably yes)
