Preparing for my first chameleon, tips appreciated

Doing great, normal V stuff. Just gave him his morning crickets. I've still never seen him eat, but yesterday I caught him in his hunting spot, next to his bowl, but all the crickets were already eaten.

There's random little V bites on leaves in his enclosure, so I guess he was taste testing different spots.

Does he get hydration from eating his live plants, also?

They should get hydration from eating the leaves, and that's great that V is doing good! :)
