Pre-Shed signs

Hello all and Happy New Year!

I didnt get a pic of my male Nosy Be before he changed to a lighter color but this morning when he was basking his color was dark, he looked "ashy". He is 4 months old and has been eating like a horse so with that and the ashy skin I suspect he's about to shed. Does anyone notice what i've described before shedding begins?

I noticed that with my guy just prior to shedding, that and his head had like a sheen to it. Waldo also ate much less the day before and of.

Yeah their skin goes chalky and wrinkles up abit lol!

His appetite has been about the same but he seems to be a bit lazier the past two days.
