Just wanted to put this idea put there for the community on a portable outdoor and possibly even a temporary indoor enclosure for juvenile chams. It's the Ikea Fyllen collapsible laundry basket that's made of fine aluminum mesh and the expanded dimensions is 18 inch diameter x 20 inch high. It has a cloth hinged lid that is secure by Velcro of which you can sew additional Velcro on the overlap if your cham is elusive enough to push the lid open. The lid and bottom is also the same aluminium mesh that is very fine. It also has handles you can use to hang from planter hanger if you want to. Overall I think this is a great little find and it's only $10 at ikea. Comes in grey and blue which for obvious reasons I'd recommend the grey (more like silver).
I place a small hibiscus inside and let my 2 month old cham enjoy the natural sunlight.
Best part is you can crunch it down and store it away in the winter.
Hope you all find it as useful as I do. This might be a little small for full grown adult though but you can push tacks through the mesh and secure branches across the diameter if you want to free up the space with a potted plant.
