I stoped by a local reptile shop today to get some horn worms and i saw that they had an adult panther in there and he was in a pretty small inclosure and looked to have something wrong with his skin. It looked like burn scars or something I'm not sure but i felt bad for him he would close his eyes for a couple minutes at a time too and he was just looking at me like save me please. I wanted to so bad but dont know if he could make it. Its a sham because he is really pretty too.

the skin problems seem to be behind his neck on his legs and on his lower back

He is a handsome boy! Maybe they would give you a big discount so you could get him and take him to a vet that's experienced with chameleons.

i might try and do that. only thing is im not sure if they will let him go for cheap and I'm currently trying to build a cage for my current and one that i am looking into buying when they hatch so if i can get that all set up and he is still alive i might try and get him and put him in my current females cage that will be empty when I'm done with the double cage. He was a sweet boy when i was in there today and just looked like he really wanted someone to save him. I hope he can pull through for me i would love to be the one to save him!

update on this guy. they will not sell him and he apparently is "mean" and wouldn't let me hold him. he looks like his burns arnt doing very well. also i think i should call someone to get him taken away who should i call for that? he is neglected badly he docent look to be fully grown but he is for sure in way to small of a cage its about 16x16x28/maybe32? but he has no heat lamp on at all I'm assuming because he has burns on him because they have his branches all the way up to the top about an inch away from the heat lamp(that isn't on) and not like he has much room to go anywhere anyways. he has no sort of running water or mister so I'm not sure how he gets any water and no where to hide. i feel very bad for the guy and since they won't let me buy him because they are making babies from him and selling them in that shop i want to call someone to try and get him taken away and put in a better home that hopefully will take care of him. Also dont let these picture let you think that the foliage in the back is something he can hide in its just some stuff going down the back of the cage and in now way can he get in it.
