Poop!

My female veiled seems to be consuming the washed play sand that is in her laying bin. I never see her eat it, but while i picked up one of her poops while cleaning her cage it broke open and was full of sand. Not sure what to do. I'm scared if this continues she will become impacted, but I think she may lay a clutch soon so I don't want to remove the bin
Any suggestions?!

I use garden soil in my laying bin. She may decide she doesn't like to eat garden soil. Or if she does, the particulate size is smaller than sand...
