Please help

So I don't know why, but my chameleon just stuck out his three horns (he is a Jackson) through the cage. He is really starting to scare me lately, but this was just so unusual. I sometimes see him trying to put his horns through the cage (it's hardware cloth, not mesh) and this really scared me :( What should I do?
PS: I write a bunch of posts, so don't think I don't try

How big is his cage?
He may just want more space to roam.
 
It's 2ft tall, but it's cylindrical, see?

It's pretty much a whole entire roll of hardware cloth.

I was also thinking that he needed more space or wanted to go out
 
I would say he just wants out. I have a very large outdoor cage and my chameleon is always hanging on the sides of it like he is trying to get out too.
 
I can't put him outdoors, it's too hot :'( I wish I could though. I do shower him outside everyday, he gets a little sun and he drinks if he wishes.
 
Ok, good enough. I think it fits on the table, so I'm good. I could buy it in a few days and use that cage to take him outside. And another question- don't the plants die without sun if you plant one in the cage?

Depends on the plant. you can either trade plants in and out, one in the cage, one in the sun, and switch.
or get a light for your plants to put on the cage.

okay, so all I have to do is go to Home Depot for a while and buy all the stuff. Probably a lot cheaper than the pet store. I'll just ask there what to do. But what I'm afraid is that the plant grows big (I have two 30ft umbrella trees :p )
Anyway, I'll actually go tomorrow and get everything back on track

Thats why you trim it back dear. :rolleyes:
 
No ones judging its always a learning process its just about being able to accept the feedback and doing whats best for the cham.
