You said the light was zoo med ... I'm going to need more details. Is it the double dome? basiclly he needs a t5ho uvb bulb and fixture. heres one on walmart.com

As @NashansCamos said, T5HO bulb and fixture. The prices run odd, as in the smaller ones are often more expensive, if can I would get 36in over 24in, but either is good.
Do some shopping, Look for theese "arcadia shadedweller prot5 uvb kit " I see 12 in, thats too small, But I have a 48in so they make them. The key here is these are the only ones I have found that come with correct light. You get to pic what bulb you want.
