Hopefully this works. I posted two pictures of my new cage set up. I am going to be getting one of jann's little jewels and i want everything squared away. Ok so the incandescent bulb is 40w and is 5" from the closest branch. The basking temp hovered around the high seventies. I have a 18" reptisun 5.0 the closest branch to that is 4.5 inches. There are two live pathos in there. I have not put the river stones on the organic soil yet as i just picked them up today and i took these pics yesterday. I did repot and clean the pathos plants.I have a dripper that falls right into one of the plants. I have purchased Three supplements, calcium with and without D3 and Reptivite.
One question of the bat. What do I have to do to keep these pathos alive, will just the spraying be enough? Or do they need more than just the UV light and water?
And thats all i can think to add at the moment guys, oh i have a digital therm and a analog humidity gauge, but i dont know if i really trust the analog gauge, what do you guys think about them?

david, everything looks great! I know you can't wait to get your new baby. I pick my boy, Luca up thrusday, and can hardly wait. I have been working on his cage too. Please post pictures when you get your baby. Jann says that Luca is 22 grams already. I hope I can afford to feed him as well as she has!!

David, It looks great! Good job!!!! Do you have a name for your little guy yet?

As for the plants, the one that the dripper's going in, you will not need to do anything else. The other one you should water every 2 to 3 days. My pothos do great in the house.

THATS THE BEST NEWS!! and tomorrow is my birthday! looks like im getting myself a pretty sweet present ;). I have been pitching names around though i dont think i can name him until i get him though.

The cage looks great!! Post some pictures once you get your little L&C baby. The only thing that I recall Jann telling me different is that you might not need the basking light right away. The temp seems to be okay, though.

Looks awesome! I think he'll be super happy in there :D If the pothos starts to die on you or something (which it shouldn't... it's also called "devil's ivy" probably because you can't kill it! lol) you can change the basking bulb to a plant bulb from any home improvement store. I think they come in 40-60 watts, so it will be about the same temp as the one you have now. They have helped keep my plants a lot healthier in some of my bigger cages. But you should be fine!

Congrats on getting one of the babies! You're going to love him to bits.

Cage looks good. Those big jars of calcium will probably expire before you can use it unless you have ALLOT of chams. :D

Hey David that is a nice cage you have going. What size is it? I have Pepper, my Jann baby in a 16x16x30 cage with a umbrella plant that touches all 4 sides. He can really hide from me, that is until I have food, then he woud show up 2 cages down the row if he could and eat everyone's dinner. The boy loves to eat, he may go to a larger cage sooner that I thought.:eek

I know how much you wanted one of Jann's babies and I am happy for you, since I also have one I am just a PM away.:) You could name him JJ for Jann Junior.:D

I know i have to see how he acts first before i name him, I think my cage is the same dimensions as yours. I have a big cage for when he gets bigger. At the rate i hear these guys eat he should be in there in no time!!!:D:D:D

Yea i got a little order happy with the sizes. Maybe we could all meet up and i will give everyones crickets a complimentary dusting

hey David,,,, now that's really looking cham friendly!!!!!! i'll bet the little guy will be happy with it!!!!!

i think my cage is the same too, 16 x 16 x 30.... i can't wait to move up to a larger cage, i have too much stuff to get into the small cage, plants, vines and branches... i think we'll be able to be more creative with our larger enclosures!!!! :)
