WELCOME!!!
You will most likely want a live plant or two. This will help you with humidity and sometimes they like to take a nibble off of them. Pothos are realy easy and cheap to keep in the cage.

thanks, and do i really need a lot of plants? cause i have seen a lot of peoples cages and you cant even see in them they have so much plants.

i was also wondering how long do the potho plants live about?

thanks

Welcome to the forums! You'll love it here.

They don't need real plants, but its recommended. Live plants help retain the humidity better. I like pothos and ficus. So does my chameleon, haha.

edit: You don't need a BUNCH, but enough for him to hide when he wants to, so that he feels protected.

No you will only need one or two. Remember that you will want to have enough room for your little one to climb around but dense enough to hide out as well. Kind of their security blanket if you will. I have three (2) weaping figs and (1) pothos. It realy helps me to control the humidity and catches a lot of the water from misting. A pothos should live forever and when it gets bigger it will provide extra vines for your little one to climb.
