Most of the pet stores near me are pretty much the same. I find it’s easier and quicker to just buy what I need from Amazon or other on line source.

Got this for now
unfortunately thats not suitable for a chameleon. The uvb is compact (no good) and the heat is usually too hot.

For heating: you just want a normal incandescant house bulb (bought at hardware store) and the hood electrical clamp thingy.
For uvb: you want a t5ho 6% linear fixture, buy arcadia or reptisun. it will cost about 50$. you can find some on amazon or walmart.

That’s a mercury vapor bulb which is not recommended to use for chams unless you have a solarmeter. It can provide too much uvb. For plants, some use a linear T5 with multiple sockets and put 6400k plant lights in. I use these. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07TKKG8Q3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
If you aren’t putting in plants with high light needs you could get away with using something like this. https://www.amazon.com/SANSI-Spectr...ywords=Sansi+grow+light&qid=1596426697&sr=8-5
How many t5s do I need ? For my 24x24
