So I checked on my chams today and my panthers dracanae had white fungus lookin stuff ALL OVER IT! i had his cage set up perfectly then i had to take out the dracanae and all it had now are two pothos (one half chopped up) i examined the white stuff and it looks like white fungusy bug-like things, i chopped off all the leaves on my ficus that had that stuff on it, can this haarm my cham?! and how did this happen, what causes it, and most importantly what is it!

I forget what they're called, but if it's what it sounds like then they aren't directly dangerous to your chameleon but they can definitely destroy your plants. You can spray the leaves with soapy water to kill them but you may have to repot the plant to get rid of the eggs.

Sounds like mealybugs. Those things are awful and very hard to get rid of. But, like desultadox said, not damaging to the chameleons.
