Planning Ahead for the New Arrival

Well, it won't be much longer now. Just a few more days and Gizmo will be arriving. Gizmo is my 4 month old Ambanja.

I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good Herp vet (one specializing in chams would be even better).

I live in Lakewood, California and I'd love to find one close. I want get established with someone BEFORE I have any emergency.

Well, your best bet is Dr. Tom Greek. He's treated close to 1000 chameleons including mine and others on this site. He's in the middle of getting his new office built so for the moment he's working out of another office in Diamond Bar. The new office will be back in Yorba Linda again. It's just a ride straight down the 91 fwy for you!

Greek is currently at:

Diamond Bar, CA 91765

He's got odd hours so call in advance to find out what days and what hours and where. He might be working Thurs & Fri 8am-6pm and Sat 8am-Noon. I think he's at another site in Fountain Valley Mon and & Tues. All of this may change soon.

Thanks everyone. The Kammers also recommend Dr. Greek. I really appreciate the feedback. Even though you can find many vets on the website, I still feel better with personal recommendations. I will set up an appointment with him
