I have a nice melleri cage setup - but I don't want to take pics yet because the door is not final - I had a wood frame door from a cage I wasn't using, and I just hinged it on temporarily wth zip ties. It works, but it's unsightly.

It's 6'x6'x3' deep. Got two big ficus and some vines from outside - I know it works well because the door is left open much of the time, and neither of them ever tries to escape.

If this thread continues, I'll have some motivation to finish the thing. The possibility of relocationg to raleigh for work has been quite the disincentive to finish cage asthetics...

Here's a new 7x7x7 enclosure. I'm adding two more 4x7x7tall walk-in's by time I'm done building. So 15' long x 7' wide x 7' tall when complete.

I agree Steve, Im moving in!

This is real inspirational! Man, I wish we had an enclosed deck, Id just make it a giant cham hang out..with a lawnchair in the middle.:)

Well, I'm having to sell it and re-home my cham due to income issues... but here is the cage I built:

3"x2"x5" actual cage footprint, 85" tall total setup.

Steve,

Is the frame work made of wood or vinyle? Is the screen aluminum? Heck it looks like a greenhouse. Can you post some close-ups of the inside furnishings and the doors and sides? I just want to lust a bit (house prices need to get WAY down to move to Orange County where an outdoor setup makes sense!!).:D
