Here's Pickles in the new play-pen my boyfriend made for him today. Porter, my cat, is always jealous of the attention Pickles gets, so he had to play in it too.

I have 3 african pygmy hedehogs. They are cute and one of my females is pregnant too! She is due to have babies in the next week or 2!

awww, that's exciting! They are so unbelievably cute! Just a shame mine is unbelievably disgusting too- alway getting covered in poo

I just got a little hedgie girl at the end of August. Her name is Astrid, she's pretty darn cute.

Pickles is such a cutie! Having been pooped on by a friends hog yesterday I can vouch for how bad they stink, lol!

I was trying the tips your friend suggested. He likes the stinky shoe. but he did the biggest poo ever, urgh. at least that's one poo that won't get mashed into his exercise wheel

What purpose does the shoe serve? I really don't know much about hedgehogs! My friend placed hers in my hand and within seconds I smelt the unGodly smell she emitted! Did Pickles poop in your shoe?

Lol love it. I was thinking about possibly a sugar glider next but maybe a hedgehog is the way to go.

Pickles has peed & pooped in my other half's slippers! They like the smell of cheesy old shoes- they go nuts & annoint themselves- basically lick things, foam up & cover their spines in the foam! It's gross, especially when they do it with a chewed up insect, but really cute too cos they usually fall over.

The shoes in the pic were heading for the bin, so of course he didn't want to poop in them lol
