Picking your brains

Just hoping to pick your brains one last time...

If I cover his cage half way with a towel at night to protect him from draft (or heavily foliage the side the drafts would be coming counter-act the entire reason for a screen mesh? As in would it be harmful to his health?

Also, if he is only about 4 1/2 feet high for the time being will it stress him out? Probably a month at the most.

I have a pathos for him, a large one in a 2 X 2 X 2 cage (hes a baby). Very temporary, a couple months.

no, but you should move the cage out of the way of the draft (if possible) and yes its fine for him to have a smaller cage as a baby
2 feet off the ground? does your chameleon seem stressed if not then he's dandy but chameleons like being high up they feel safer
as you own your chameleon you will realize their only goal in life is to climb higher.

It would be fine to half cover it with a towel an what do you mean if he is at about 4 1/2 foot? Do you mean his viv as that high of the ground or?

His cage is on top of a 2 1/2 foot stand.
