Makes me sick. First off I walk into the store and its absolutely boiling inside. the ambient temp was probly in the 80's due to the heat being on. Then this guy has 4 female Jackson's around 4-5 months in the same small enclosure. They were crawling on each other thats how small it was. The cage was half glass half screen. All the cages had the wrong uvb lights. Then he had 3 male nosy's around 5 months in a 24x24x48. All the cages have substrate and are poorly setup. Wish I could do more than telling him he needs to change his ways.

I always talk to the manager. I know i may be 12 years old but i do speak up. I see a lot of animals treated poorly and i go home, get some research on them and help the store out to see that the next time i came in and they adjusted their setups ALOT better. I am glad this store is at least willing to do something but not all stores are like that. I hope one day they will stop with their crap and treat animals they way they would like to be treated.

Thats why you dont buy stuff from stores like that if money is the bottom line then just dont support them if you feel that way.

I didn't buy a thing. I was going to but he didn't even have what I needed. Believe me I def had a word with him

I'm glad you said something it drives me crazy when pet stores are selling pets and giving people advice on their care and they dont even know proper ways to take care of them in the first place

It is said how some pet stores treat their animals badily chameleons especially as of there specialized care they are not to blame though it is the people that buy them this makes the store order even more. Every time I go to petco "by force as my usual store is out of range as im only 15" I find it funny how people pay 90 for baby veiled chams while they could buy one from the many fine breeders on the site for less including shipping, they could even go to a local reptile store and get a cham for less. I try my best to tell them and sometimes I win somtimes I lose.
