Perlite

The natural "organic" soil i bought today has an ingredient called perlite. The soil has small white balls in it which has to be the perlite. Other ingredients are humus, peat moss, and compost, then perlite.
Is this soil safe to repot my new plants in or do I need new soil?
Also, when repotting a plant do i need to remove 100% of the soil (the soil the plants came in also has small white balls in it) from the roots before placing in new pot?
Thanks for any input anyone,
Kelsie

Perlite in soil is bad-if your chams eat it, and they will, it will swell up in their stomach. Buy organic without perlite. I usually totally replant or wash the top half of soil away and cover with organic.

oh k off to another store i go =/ haha
alright i just wanted to know if all soil has to be replaced or if i can just surround in new soil.
Thanks,
Kelsie
