We've had some lovely weather here recently, so I decided it was time for Peanut and I to get some rays :D

She very much deserved it after producing a clutch of 'surprise' infertiles not so long before. She is doing great, eatting and drinking well.

She took to being outside much better then last year (her first summer) She didnt try to escape her set of plants at all :)

Taaaa daaa, one hand!

Hoverflies are not a part of my diet!!

It was really hard to keep Peanut's attention and to catch her eyes. She was really interested in knowing what the tortoise was up to and where she was at all times.

Hope you guys enjoyed our little adventure as much as we did ;)

Nice pics! Neat how you got the fly in mid-hover.

PS. Your fig tree is way behind, mine is bursting with leaves!

Awww! Peanut's showing her zipper off, lol! :D She looks great! I think they remember going outside as Amy is fine too this year, but Tommy needs a while to get used to it I think! What type of fig tree is that? Is it very tall?

Its the fruit tree type Tiff.

Its not very tall at the moment maybe 2', but i have it in a large pot which i hope it will grow nicely into. I can move it around the garden, albeit slowly, the thing is quite heavy!

Cant wait for the leaves to come back fully, it looked quite impressive last year when we got it :)

Nice shots! We've entered the popular "warm and sunny during the week, cold and rainy weekends" period, so I'm only able to get Lloyd out for an hour or so after work.
Peanut was right to keep an eye on the tortoise; everybody knows they can't be trusted.:p

Thanks everyone :D

She really did look happy to be outside, she got a bit hissy when I decided it was getting a bit cold.

Flu (the tortoise) is a crafty one and you really do need to keep your eye on her. She headbutts your feet if they are in the way and she wants to walk past. She wont walk round them! hehe
She is good really though, she taps on the door when she wants to go out to the garden and walks to the dog bowls when she wants feeding, hehe

Love that cham great shots

You must have been using an action shot with high shutter speed? Great pics. Hope that sun didnt spoil the little veiled!

That was taken on the little mountain icon... she really doesnt like my camera, and that was taken at quite a distance.

Isnt that what we are here for?! To spoil our little friends, hehe :D
