panthers vs veiled

why is it that panthers cost so much more? i understand that the color plays a factor into demand but i see it usually upwards or close to 100 dollars for a veiled and 300 for a panther. Just curious

I think that it is just a breed thing. I personally have a Panther chameleon and I love him... Plus I think that he is cuter than the veiled... no offfence to the veiled owners... just my opinion!!!! But I dont think that it is anything in particular. But not to sure! Good luck

With panthers the expensive ones are usually from a specific bloodline. People don't really track veiled bloodlines as closely. Also there a many more veiled breeders than panther breeder.
Comes down to more of a supply and demand thing.
