So i just got my nosy be a few days ago and i have been leaving the his cage open and now today he does nothing but climb out and walk over to see me or "Feed".. He usually comes over and climbs up to my head and waits for me to feed him.. and even after hes done he prefers to stay where i am then be in his cage.. Should i be handling my nosy be? He seems not to mind.. I don't know.. let me know what you guys think!

Just be gentle and non-threatening. Try to move slow and natural, non-proprietorially like. Darker colors are a good mood indicator for stress.

His cage is near my bed but he has to go across the room to get to me where i sit.. And he rushes over when i open the door.. Is this normal Beauvoir? And i'm trying to be as non threatening as possible his color always stays bright blue..

I am going to be working on a free range tree for him, i don't really like locking him up... Are they capable of liking a person?

Well, as his cage is left open he's incorporated the area outside it into his territory. Once they learn the climbing routes they can reach they like to keep using them. Chams like to patrol as much of their turf as possible especially males. Its normal. I'm not sure I would say he "likes" you...chams are not wired to be socially sophisticated after all. Rather, I'd say he trusts you because he's learning that you are a source for good things, you are not a predator or a rival. If your room is safe for him to roam in I'm sure he'd prefer that to his cage. Some cham species are a lot more secretive and shy than others, so they might prefer staying inside a densely planted cage space. But he obviously isn't that way which is great.
