Panther VS Carpet

Sorry for the Profile pic I don't have any Cham pics yet but I'll change it soon, i almost forgot that firstchoicereptile.com also has carpets but WC !

I am not going to recommend wild caughts.
you have to get a fecal done for parasite tests. and they dont always adjust well.

as a first cham, which since you are so new to this site, i have to assume it will be... stay away from wild caughts for now.

I created a post in DIY section about the cage I'm gonna build, it was a few weeks ago. I have most of the material now and have started on it but have not gotten verry far. It's going to be about 4 and a half feet tall, around 3 feet wide and 2 and a half feet deep. It is going to be elivated on a cabinate. I am trying to figure out the best equipment for it.... herp Keeper or something els.... and there is only going to be one cham living in it. I made a joke earlier about having one cham living in it and feeding it pygmy chameleons so it can absorb their chameleon power and become a super chameleon.... no one else seemed to think it was funny. lol.

Yes, I deffinatelly want CB. :) It will be my first cham. I was origionally going to sell my reef aquarium in order to fund the project, but after selling a couple pieces of coral I decided against it. So it is taking a little longer to prepare the perfect home, it is in process though.

The only time I woudl go with wild caught chams is to bring new blood into a breeding project.

and personally,l i feel thats the only time you should get a wild caught cham.

which if i could find the damn species i want.. i would.. but righ tnow.. i cant.. and its annoying me.

hoehnelli.

like in my avatar.

also known as high casqued hoenell's.

theres one member here who has some.. but they are distantly related to the one i have.. theres anoth ermember who has a female, that i iwll be breeding my male too, but i want one or two females of my own to start a larger breeding project.

i will also be breeding my male veiled.

LMAO. RIGHT! got it, sorry. :) I know with my aquarium, sometimes it is better to go to less recognized sorces for live coral and fish... the problem is finding them. Sounds like the same perdicimint here.

ive only found 2 sites that sell this species, and both are sold out...
soo i might jsut be go with the original member here who sold me my guy, Kermit.
distant relatives are ok, just not brother sister relations.

personality. they are soo sweet. my guy never hisses,
the coloring- such a pretty green, almost blue when an adult.
the little nose, they have a small rostral horn, that turns up, like the noses in whoville, from dr. seuss.

and they are a smaller species.. don ttake up alot o froom. max out at like 10 inches.

lol, you make me want to give one of em a hug. :)

when you see one in person, you do want to give him a hug.
hes so cute.. he only weighs 12 ounces. and he has the sweetest personality.. hes a little shy.. but loves shower time..
