Panther questions

Hey guys!
In the future, I would like to get a panther chameleon but I would like to know, how much different they are from veileds? I have a veiled girl now and I love her, she's my first. The only things I know is how to tell the gender of panthers and that they need bigger enclosures than veileds. I would be also glad for some articles if you know of any, thank you!

They can be setup exactly the same. Males do need a bigger cage for either of them.
The only thing, which i dont recommend, is panthers wont nom nom on the plants nearly as much as the veileds, so you can get away with some prettier, but not as tummy approved, plants. but again they can all end up filthy bark chewers.

personally just get either, throw it in a 2x2x4 reptibreeze xl, bust out a 6%/5.0 T5HO across the top. Then fill it with pothos and dracaenas. Then you can work up to the more brown thumb plants.

I keep my panthers and veileds basically the same, but with some compromise on humidity…I try to keep it around 40-50%. I have given all of my chameleons double sized enclosures and I notice my girls use all of their space just as much as, and sometimes even more than my boys. The plants which do best for me happen to be the veiled safe ones, so I stick with those.

Panthers males are usually more mellow than veileds…but like other animals and people too…everyone is different.
Caging is, I kept both species the same basically.
