Panther gestation - How long is too long?

I don't know how she knows, but she always looks! I'll have to try keeping the webcam there so she doesn't see movement. All the females see me very quickly. Male chameleons, not so much.

I'll have to try that. My other female who just laid that tiny clutch uses the mirror in the bathroom to see me. She's too smart! She can't see herself or other chameleons in the mirror, so I know she is looking at me.

Edit: oh yeah. She was scratching around last night (she might have been digging.) but I didn't see any digging today. She still looks chub so I don't think she laid them.

Ewww. She doesn't resemble snooki at all in my eyes. She's a lot more hardcore. :)

Anywho, any suggestions? I need to get these eggs out of her but nothing seems to work? When is it vet time? She is still acting normal.

If it were me, I would go and get an xray done. Most times the vets are really good about the small animals and will give ya a two fer. IE you will get two views on the same xray film, from diff angles for the price of one. I know that you know she has eggs, but the xray will show how they are positioned. I'm sure you know already but before oviposition the eggs kinda form up into lines or stacks. Atleast you would know if she is not ready yet.

If it helps at all the previous link I put up has xrays on it of a gravid panther over the course of a month. The last few xrays, show them lining up, and ready to be laid. The previous are all jumbled. I can try and make them clearer/brighter for you too if that would help pm me.

What ever happened with this PShh? Did she ever lay her clutch? I'm in a very similar situation.
