Panther eye Problem

My 1 year old panther suddenly started to be with his right eye closed but when i pick him up or move him he opens it. I gave him a 15 minute shower this morning, plus some misting thorught out the day. i am thinking of taking him to the vet this afternoon. I replaced the exoterra branches for Flamboyan or Delonix Regia branches about 2 weeks ago. I have 4 other chameleons which havent had the problem. Latley i have seen food running around so i beleive he is eating less or not at all. any help is appreciated. What is the dosage fos Baytril?

Lighting: Natural Sunlight in the Caribbean

Diet : Cricket and Superworm

I cleaned out today his entire cage and branches.

Plants : Umbrella plant and 1 pothos

Branches : Exo Terra Branches and Delonix Regia tree "Flamboyan" branches.

Water : Automatic Cylcle 3 times a day for 4 minutes.

Temperature here is around 85 high and 71 low.

Supplement Hypertivite , Miner - All and Calcium with D3 evry toher day i alternate it.

why Baytril?
are you sure that's the med for his problem?
I say wait until you talk to your vet.
the eye problem can b just an irritant.
and if it does, shower therapies might help.
sometimes the vet will flush his eyes with saline.

You should avoid administering antibiotic randomly.

Baytril is commonly used for eye meds on chams, trust me...i kno by now(sadly...) But anyways, id take him to the vet really,dont wait for anyone's response,because if this turns out to be like the problem i had...your in

You say you use Calcium with D3 every other day? That's WAY too much for an indoor chameleon let alone an outdoor one. Vitamin D3 should only be given 2 times a month to an indoor chameleon.

You don't even need the D3 supplement since he gets plenty D3 supplementing from natural sunlight. You are definitely over supplementing with the D3.
Get rid of that calcium with D3 and buy one without the D3.

As for the eye issue, I'd try terramycin.
