this very weird thing is happening to my chameleon right now he's having issues eating like I've never seen before he's hungry and he's striking his food just fine with his tongue coming out but when he pulls the food back in right before he's about to swallow he spits it back out like if somethings in the way or something is wrong with his tongue does anybody have any advice on what this is ?

In your profile pic, does your chameleon always have its mouth open like that?

If you cut the heads off bugs thinking they'll harm your chameleon, you clearly haven't learned much in 10 years. Why come to a forum and ignore advice. People take their time to help and you can't even fill out a form. Probably reflects your work ethic in life...

Btw I've had reptiles for 20+ and never cut the heads off, that is a stupid myth. And really... the amount of years you keep reptiles means nothing when doing it wrong, that's why I had a ton to learn when joining here. Anyway let me ask, what is your reasoning for feeding mealworms? Because they suck for nutrition. If you feed them for variety fine, but doubtful what you're doing based off your newbie comments.

Edit: notice how nobody has helped You? Learn to read stickies and maybe someone more patient than me will help you. Good luck little guy

look like I said before I don't need your help and don't appreciate your rude comments I would accept your advice if it was helpful but you don't even have any so thanks again but no thanks you obviously don't know much and even if you did I wouldn't accept anything from a snotty person like yourself I'll continue asking for help and will receive it without the disrespectful comments

Noticed you edited the parts where you called me an idiot and kiddo hmm? Next time have some respect when answering questions it shows maturity.

I suggest reading the forum rules! No need for foul language on here. He was trying to help, no reason to attack people when they're trying to help.
No he wasn't he edited his so called "help" which was very disrespectful and I have read the rules this person was being very disrespectful towards me I only responded with the same treatment at that point but before I had explained that I don't need his snotty help read the comments again before you make accusations
Thank you

Not accusing anyone of anything, just no need to use foul language...He's right about the nutritional value of mealworms though. You're asking for help so don't get upset when someone tries to help you even if they don't agree with your husbandry skills. Good luck

Hmm?? For 1. When did I say that's all I feed my chameleon ??????? Please answer this I said I'm feeding mealworms that's all i said lol what makes you think that's all I feed him so why are you mentioning the value of them ? For 2. I asked for help simple question and it should be answered simply I've read books and I've owned chameleons and never have I noticed what I noticed yesterday not in person or in books so I was wondering if anyone else has experienced it or has ever noticed anything like it and if they had any advice simple! I didn't ask for snotty comments calling me an idiot or anything like that ok today I won't make the same mistake I'll just go speak to a specialist thanks anyhow
