Pair of panthers

Hello, i am possibly going to be getting a pair of panthers soon and i wanted to know a couple of things about them. Firstly can they be housed in male and female pairs? if so what size viv would they need?

Chameleons do much better alone not in pairs if you wnat two chameleons panther/veild whatever you need two cages. the constant breeding attemps and stress that the chameleons will put on each other will weaken there immune system and end up killing your animals. http://www.chameleonnews.com/year2003/july2003/cohabitation/cohabitation.html this link has a good article on this.http://www.chameleonnews.com/chamcare.html this has basic info on chameleons. when you decide on the type of chameleon you want make shure you do reaserch on the spcific species. also with females you need to provide proper egg laying bins and they require special care.

This issue has crept up several times lately. The concept of housing several chams together is interesting , but in the best case , it still will create stress.I have seen a keeper, house 2 seperate 1.3 colonies of Panthers in large 100 gallon reptariums, with a ton of foiliage and in each case the chams seemed really well adapted. But, within about 3 - 4 months time , a pecking order began to develop.. competition for territory , food and basking time all ensued. Eventually chams became ill and deaths followed.

The effect of stress is usually apparent after it is too late.
