Painting soon...?

I'm painting my room soon, and I was wondering how long I should keep my chams out of the room for (in other words how long will it take for the fumes to leave).

Paint will emit fumes long after it dries! Go with an eco-friendly paint that states it will not have as many fumes. Sherman Williams has one, and so do some others. Its better for you, too!

I am guessing a few days. Opening the windows should help. I'd think after you've been gone awhile and come home and walk in your room if it no longer smells then it's ok to put them back in. I do also believe there's safe paints you should use. Hopefully someone with more knowledge about painting will see this.
