I was out hiking in the mountains just east of Jediah Smith Redwood State Park and came across this Pacific Rattler. I wish I would have had my good camera but my phone had to do...

Todd, ol buddy ol pal...got a spare room? :D

Ive already got dibs!!!!!!!!!:p:)

Very nice!!!! Ive yet to see a timber rattler here but then again I dont go out looking for them;) They are supposed to be all over the mountain ranges near me.

Todd, you might have to start explaining your photos to your former FL friends. I don't think the recognized the photo of the trees. They may think it's a fluke from the camera. :p

As for a Pacific rattlesnake, those are tiny compared to the Timber rattlesnake. Nice find by the by.

Yes, Those trees ARE as wide as the road. Those are all Redwoods. The picture doesn't do justice. Walking/driving thru that forest is like being back in time. It makes you feel like you need to watch out for dinosaurs.

See Ya,

Todd

That lil snake is no ways nearly as scary as an eastcoaster surfin that rocky coast:p

Its more the 55 deg water that makes its way down here from Alaska then the rocks. I can also hear the sea lions from my house and where there are sea lions there are most likely great whites... Fun times!

See Ya,

Todd
