Hey there all Pacific Northwest herp lovers....................Just a reminder that the Northwest Captive Breeders Expo is this weekend at the Puyallup Fairgrounds (10/21 and 10/22). Puyallup is pronounced Pew-Al-Up for all of you non Seattle/Tacoma area people out there. The show is sponsered by The Beanfarm (they do not grow any vegetables). You can check out the vendors that are scheduled to be there by clicking on the NWCBE tab on their website which is www.Beanfarm.com. The show is 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Saturday and 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on Sunday. Pam of Pam's Chams will be there. Stop by to meet her if you haven't met her in person before.

This is a fairly small show but there are a few really good vendors there. LLL Reptile is there. They have some great supplies. Douglas Dix from Deer Fern Farms is there. He has a great article in Reptiles Magazine right now. He does Uromastyx lizards but is super to talk to about lizards in general. There are a couple of great "wood" suppliers there. Sandblasted Manzanita and grapevine. I love the stuff for climbing branches. Looks natural and is varied in sizes and supports an adult male quite nicely. They only take cash so bring some if it's something you want. Not too many chams at this show but lots of caging supplies. Lots of cute turtles, geckos and snakes too.

I'm going to try to go first thing on Saturday so I can snatch up anything of interest to me. Hope to see a couple of people from this group there. If you do go on Saturday morning ask Pam if she has seen me. She can tell you if I'm still loitering and what I'm wearing. I'm going to see her first. Hope to see you :)
