I'm in NJ and I did the same last summer, I'd take him out and he would just relax on me in the sun. I also built a little bamboo climbing contraption that I'd let him hang out on. In July my power went out for 3 days and I ended up bringing his entire Repti-Breeze cage outside during the day.
I am planning on building an outside cage this summer so I can leave him out all day. I don't think I will leave him out overnight, but definitely from morning to night. I will likely use 1-inch PVC and some of the below fencing. It should be relatively simple to build. I think I am going to do 4 feet wide, 3 feet deep, and 5 feet tall. Probably will put in a ficus and an umbrella tree , with vines all over.
