outside and promist question

I just started putting my chameleons outside in the sun this week. I was wondering how often they should be misted? I feel like it gets too hot if I don't mist them, but I am probably just over reacting. Also does the promist system sell a reservoir or does it come with one?

one more thing, how do you know if your chameleon is eating enough food?

Howdy,

You can buy a water tank from them but I find that a nice 4-5 gal pail and lid works pertfectly. You can get them for free from restaurants and dry cleaning businesses.

Track your cahameleon's weight and you'll see if they are gaining or loosing weight. You can adjust and adult's food intake so that the weight stays constant.
